Texas Assisted Living Facility Neglected Resident Who Died, Says Lawsuit

An assisted living facility in College Station, Texas, is facing a lawsuit alleging staff neglected an elderly resident who died. Staff at the Waterford at College Station neglected the resident while dealing with coronavirus issues, alleges the complaint. His family contends the staff members left the resident alone without proper care, causing him to suffer from infection, dehydration, and malnutrition. The lawsuit states the facility "failed to recognize, recklessly disregarded, or attempted to cover up the severity of the spread of the COVID-19 at the Waterford."
