Estate Sues After Man in Motorized Wheelchair Fatally Hit by Car
The estate of a man who was killed while using a motorized wheelchair in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, has filed a lawsuit against the city and the driver who struck him. The city is accused of negligence for not maintaining a proper traffic signal where the man was struck by the car and dragged. The complaint alleges the driver was inattentive while driving and he failed to stop after hearing a thud when he hit the man. The complaint was filed in Lycoming County.
