Family of New York Woman Restrained by Group Home Staff Files Lawsuit

A lawsuit has been filed by the mother of a woman who died in a group home in Webster, New York, after being restrained by staff at the facility for 45 minutes. According to the lawsuit over her death, the facility failed to respond to complaints about the woman's treatment and failed to properly train its staff. Two workers named as defendants in the lawsuit were convicted in the woman's death.
